Bastille Day Chicago - July 14, 2015

Come celebrate Bastille Day in Chicago in the presence of the Consul General of France in Chicago, Vincent Floreani. This year’s live music will be provided by the energetic French band LA JARRY. Watch waiters from your favorite Chicago French restaurants compete in a race called La Course de Garçon de Café that involves running as fast as they can while balancing a tray of grand crus … without spilling a drop! Be amazed by our jugglers and magicians. It’s fun for all ages!

Try your luck at pétanque; the famous game played for centuries in Marseille. Let our volunteers teach you a word or two of "parlez-vous français?!?”. Have your picture taken at the Alliance Française photo booth in front of the French flag. Stay with les amis to enjoy a taste of France from the food vendors on-site with sweet & savoury crepes, croissants, and French wine...

There are raffles and prizes to win, including tickets for TILT (Hancock Tower), a night’s stay at the Sofitel, visits to the French Pastry School, and so much more!

Come and celebrate with us on July 14th, from 5pm to 9pm at Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington St. Chicago.
