COVID 19 | Fight against the spread of the Coronavirus - France / Border control

In the context of the implementation of the state of health emergency in France because of the COVID-19 pandemic, access restrictions to Mainland France and to French Overseas territories are in effect.

If you are travelling/returning to France, or transiting through France, the presentation of an official international declaration or travel certificate is now required as well as a statement certifying you do not have any symptoms of a COVID-19 infection. The documents must first be presented to the airline company before departure and at the French border upon arrival.

Details on the access restrictions and sanitary measures, as well as the documents are available online on the French Interior Ministry’s website.

Please note: if you are travelling from a non-EU country (ex. from the United States) to mainland France you will find the English version of the travel certificate and the statement documents both under:
"Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire vers la France métropolitaine depuis les pays tiers et déclaration sur l’honneur."
