International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The United Nations General Assembly designated January 27- the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau- as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

As part of this year’s commemorations, The Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan presents Eleanor Winters’ “A la Mémoire des Enfants Déportés”, a powerful exhibit of calligraphic artworks evoking the memory of the 11,400 French Jewish children who were deported between 1942-1944.

The exhibit opens on January 27 at 7 PM with a reception followed by an artist talk and presentation.
