Pr. Kelley Conway, UW-Madison, receives the Arts and Letters

On February 7th, Kelley Conway, Professor of Film, and Chair of the UW-Madison Department of Communication Arts was presented the medal of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by Guillaume Lacroix, Consul General of France to the Midwest.

Pr. Conway specializes in French cinema of all eras and is a noted Varda scholar. Her research interests include French film aesthetics and culture. Pr. Conway also serves as Artistic Director of the Wisconsin Film Festival and the UW Cinematheque.
