Iowa State Fair, the place to be.
Held for the first time in 1854, the Iowa State Fair is the one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country. “The true heartbeat of the Midwest”, it attracts annually more than a million people.
The Consul General visited the Fair on August 13th and enjoyed delectable Iowan food and honey lemonade. On this occasion, he met with Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and talked about the business relations between France and Iowa as well as our programs related to agriculture, innovation and education.
